Our Team

 

Anthony J. Fan, President, Tony founded Potential Industries in 1975.  He has a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture.  Tony has been instrumental in deploying automated sorting equipment at material recovery facilities and pioneered the use of 100% recycled newsprint in China.  His hands on involvement and leadership guided Potential through volatile export markets while growing the company into complimentary business activities.

 

Phillip C. Chen, Vice Chairman of Potential Industries.  Phil graduated from Stanford with Bachelor and Master’s  degrees in Mechanical Engineering and he earned a MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.  Prior to joining the company he worked at Intel for 7 years and was Director for Global Strategic Marketing.

 

Daniel J. Domonoske, PhD   Vice President, Dan has been with the firm for over twenty years.  He has Master’s degree in International Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.  Dan has led Potential’s growth into municipal contracting and facility expansion.   He likes to compete in triathlons and loves to ski.

 

Edward S.  Chen, General Manager, Eddie has over 15 years experience in operations.  He has an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Loyola Marymount.  Eddie is responsible for all sorting and recycling operations at Potential Industries, San Diego Fibers, MenCal Recycling, and West Valley Fibres.  His involvement in process improvement and equipment upgrades have enabled Potential to achieve high diversion levels while expanding the types of materials that are being recovered.
